श्रीगणपत्यथर्वशीर्षम्
परिचय
गणपत्यथर्वशीर्ष अथर्ववेदसे सम्बद्ध उपनिषद् है, जिसमें गणपतिको साक्षात् ब्रह्म कहा गया है । गीताप्रेसके नित्यकर्म-पूजाप्रकाशमें यह स्तुति-प्रकरणके आरम्भमें, सङ्कष्टनाशन गणेशस्तोत्रके बाद छपा है । पुस्तकमें यह सम्पूर्ण पाठ गद्यरूपमें, दण्डसे पदच्छेद करते हुए छपा है; यहाँ पढ़नेकी सुविधाके लिये उसे मन्त्रोद्धार, गायत्री, ध्यान और फलश्रुति आदि खण्डोंमें बाँटा गया है — यह विभाजन मूलमें नहीं है ।
पाठ-भेद
यह पाठ गीताप्रेसके नित्यकर्म-पूजाप्रकाश (पृष्ठ २८४–२८५) के अनुसार है, और sanskritdocuments.org के

- ऋषि-छन्द-देवता line: this edition prints “श्रीमहागणपतिर्देवता”; the .itx reads “गणपतिर्देवता”.
- बीजमन्त्र: this edition prints “ॐ गम् । (गणपतये नमः ।)” with the second half in parentheses; the .itx reads it as one mantra, “ॐ गं गणपतये नमः”.
- ध्यान verse, second line: this edition prints “अभयं वरदं हस्तैर्बिभ्राणं मूषकध्वजम्”; the .itx reads “रदं च वरदं हस्तैर्बिभ्राणं मूषकध्वजम्”. Both are long-attested readings of this verse.

Published text. Transcribed from the scanned pages (leaves 298–299); page confidence HIGH / HIGH. The book prints the whole text as continuous prose with the daṇḍa separating each clause, and sets the numeral ॥ १ ॥ mid-paragraph after "अर्धेन्दुलसितम्". Five words broken across printed lines with a wrap hyphen were rejoined. The śānti is given by incipit only, "ॐ भद्रङ्कर्णेभिरिति शान्तिः", both at the head and at the close. "स सर्वं लभते" and "स सर्वविद्भवति" are each printed twice, as the recitation requires, and both repetitions are kept. The section headings here are editorial, for reading; they are not in the source. Colophon: ॥ इति श्रीगणपत्यथर्वशीर्षम् ॥
